I told him I knew a little Greek from seminary days and wanted to ask a question. Was it true that there is a verb in Greek “Corinthinize” and if so, did it mean living a life of debauchery and immorality? (Probably not the best way to begin a cross-cultural evangelistic chat, but I had to satisfy my curiosity) I had read somewhere that it did though there is no such verb in the NT. His answer spoke volumes.
